Global acquires Hidden Assets from Incendo

The Irish/Canadian/Belgian crime series will air on the Corus-owned network this June.

Corus Entertainment network Global has acquired season one of the Irish/Canadian/Belgian copro Hidden Assets for its summer lineup.

The first season of the 6 x 60-minute crime drama follows an Irish detective (Angeline Ball) who joins up with a Belgian anti-terrorism unit to untangle an international conspiracy involving drugs, terrorism, and corruption. It will air on Global beginning on June 5.

Hidden Assets is written by Peter McKenna and Morna Regan and directed by Thaddeus O’Sullivan and leading Belgian director Kadir Balci. The series is produced by Dublin-based Saffron Moon, Montreal’s Facet4 Media and Brussels-based Potemkino Production for RTÉ, Super Channel and Acorn TV. It is co-funded by the European Union and distributed in Canada by Montreal-headquartered Incendo.

The show first aired in Canada on Feb. 13, 2022, as a Super Channel Fuse original.

Season two is available for streaming in Canada on Prime Video and Super Channel Fuse.
