CTV has renewed family sitcom Children Ruin Everything for a fourth season.
The 16 x 30-minute season will be divided into two parts, according to a news release, with part one slated for CTV’s 2024-25 schedule. Production is now underway in Toronto and Hamilton, Ont.
The series is created by Emmy Award-winner Kurt Smeaton (Schitt’s Creek) and is produced by Toronto’s New Metric Media in association with CTV.
Children Ruin Everything stars Meaghan Rath (Being Human) and Aaron Abrams (Blindspot) as parents raising their three young children as they struggle to hold on to their pre-kid life.
The cast includes Logan Nicholson, Mikayla SwamiNathan, Ennis Esmer, Nazneen Contractor, Dmitry Chepovetsky, Veena Sood and Lisa Codrington.
Children Ruin Everything is produced with the participation of the Canada Media Fund and the Bell Fund. Executive producers are Chuck Tatham, Mark Montefiore and Rath. Alyson Richards is a producer.
New Metric Media serves as the exclusive international sales agent for the series, while Bell Media Distribution is the international rights holder. It airs on the CW in the U.S., and the first two seasons are available on Netflix in multiple territories, including Canada.
