The Canada Media Fund and the Consul General in Los Angeles co-hosted a private reception for Canadian Emmy nominees and a number of VIP guests ahead of the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday (Jan. 15).

The Jan. 11 event, hosted at Canada’s House in L.A., saw Kirsten Hillman, Canada’s ambassador to the U.S., and Zaib Shaikh, consul general of Canada in L.A., presented the Keys to the Consulate to the late music icon Robbie Robertson — which was accepted by his wife Janet Zuccarini — and Kirk Pickersgill, the founder of fashion label Greta Constantine.
