Blue Ant Studios hires Marine Ksadzhikyan to new sales role

The VP of content sales will identify growth opportunities for the studio in the U.S. market.

Blue Ant Studios has appointed Marine Ksadzhikyan (pictured) to the newly-created role of VP of content sales.

Based in Los Angeles, Ksadzhikyan reports to Bryan Gabourie, SVP of international sales and partnerships. Her responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities across all platforms in the U.S., leveraging Blue Ant’s catalogue of over 7,000 hours of content to secure partnership models with key players for owned and third-party programming.

With more than 20 years of experience in licensing and distribution, Ksadzhikyan’s previous roles include EVP, sales at Rive Gauche Television and director of international sales at GRB Entertainment.

“Marine’s vast knowledge, robust experience and deep relationships with US and global partners will play a critical role in the continued growth of Blue Ant in the US market,” said Gabourie. “Her appointment expands our advantage in the territory considerably and will further increase our momentum coming out of a strong 2023 built upon a diverse array of new partnerships and continued collaboration with key platforms.

In other Blue Ant news, the company has announced a slew of international presales, coproductions, premieres and licensing packages.

The deals include licensing the U.S. rights to Bollywed (10 x 30 minutes; HeartHat Entertainment) to Fuse; multiple seasons of Hope for Wildlife (36 x 60 minutes and 26 x 30 minutes; Arcadia Entertainment) to EarthX Media; a slate of history programs to BBC Select, including Sandstone Global’s Grand Tour: From Paris To Rome (4 x 60 minutes) and Who Sank The Titanic (1 x 90 minutes) from Pioneer Productions & Handel Productions; and a fourth season of Lakefront Luxury (20 x 30 minutes; Nikki Ray Media Agency) to A+E Networks.
