Crave original In Memoriam underway in Montreal

Evelyne Brochu and Éric Bruneau are among the ensemble cast of the French-language succession drama from prodco Passez Go.

Production on the Crave original French-language drama series In Memoriam is underway in Montreal.

The 8 x 60-minute series is produced by Montreal’s Passez Go in association with Bell Media. Principal photography on the project began on Sept. 5, with filming taking place in Laval, Que., and Montreal’s South Shore. Production wraps on Dec. 15.

In Memoriam is created by Pierre-Marc Drouin and Pascale Renaud-Hébert with the participation of Jean-Philippe Baril-Guérard. Marie-Claude Blouin and Félix Tétreault are the series directors.

The dark family drama series follows four siblings who find themselves at odds with one another after the death of their estranged father, who stipulates in his will that one of them will inherit his $84 million fortune if they can pass a series of tests.

Crave announced the series cast on Thursday (Sept. 21), including Evelyne Brochu (Orphan Black), Éric Bruneau (Coroner), Catherine Brunet (Pour toujours, plus un jour), Jean-Simon Leduc (Alertes) and Bruno Marcil (Mégantic).

In Memoriam is expected to premiere on Crave in 2024.
