Disney+’s Ahsoka has returned to the top of the demand charts in Canada.
Ahsoka was 35.31 times more in demand than the average TV series in Canada for the week of Sept. 11 to 17, according to Parrot Analytics. It was No. 1 on both the digital originals and overall TV charts.
The Star Wars series replaced Netflix’s live-action series One Piece (28.03) at the top. One Piece moved to No.3 on the digital chart and No. 4 on the overall TV chart. Prime Video’s The Wheel Of Time (30.13), based on a novel series by Robert Jordan, moved up, taking up the No. 2 spot on both charts despite a dip in demand.
Crave’s Letterkenny held firm to its fourth spot on the digital chart from the previous week, with an average of 25.07 demand points. Two Netflix shows, I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson (20.17) and Virgin River (19.63), produced by Vancouver and L.A.-based Reel World Management, were the new entries on the chart from the previous week, coming in at No. 9 and No. 10, respectively.
On the overall TV chart, TVOKids series PAW Patrol jumped back up to No. 3, with an average of 28.96 demand points, while the CBS series The Big Bang Theory (26.33) returned to the chart at No. 7.

Parrot Analytics calculates its Top 10 lists using Demand Expressions, which are shown by using a metric that demonstrates how much more in-demand the top series are than the average TV show (linear, pay TV, SVOD and AVOD) in Canada. For example, a difference of 1x represents the market average and 10x means a series is 10 times more in demand than the average TV show in this market.
