Indie distributor Tricon Films & Television is adding Spice Goddess, the latest food show from Halifax-based Ocean Entertainment, to its international sales catalogue.
The 13-part Indian cooking series, hosted by Bal Arneson, was produced for the U.S.-based The Cooking Channel and will also bow on Food Network Canada on September 1.
Tricon earlier acquired the sales rights to another two Ocean Entertainment series, Family Renovation and Red Hot & Ready.
The indie distributor will also shop the Ride Guide extreme sports travel series from Ride Guide Productions.
The series already airs on Men TV, Outside Television and varied Canadian VOD services.
And Tricon picked up the rights to OutTV’s Linda Has 2 Mommies, seven comedic shorts from Wooden Horse Productions.
