VIFF’s 25th Annual Film and TV Forum promises to be bigger than ever, with five themed days of workshops and master classes that run September 28 to October 2.
The event kicks off with co-financing/co-production effort, Storyville, and is followed by DOC Day, FILM Day, TV Day and New Filmmakers’ Day.
Although the full line-up will not be announced until September 8, Katrin Bowen, creative director of The Forum, confirms the participation of Vince Gilligan (creator of the AMC series Breaking Bad), and Eric Overmyer (co-creator of Treme and writer on The Wire and Homicide: Life on the Street) for TV Day.
Also appearing for TV Day’s So You Wanna Write a Comedy… seminar is Michael Schur (co-creator, Parks & Recreation) and Dave Finkel (writer, United States of Tara).
