CMF looks to Turn On Canada

Looking to build brand awareness, the Canada Media Fund is inviting Canadians to connect homegrown TV shows with the coin that makes them to win an all-expense paid trip to Montreal.

The online Turn On Canada contest will see contestants test their knowledge of Gémeaux-nominated shows to possibly earn VIP weekend for two to attend the 2010 Prix Gémeaux gala in Montreal.

The industry fund said the contest aims to associate popular Canadian TV shows with the $351 million in annual investment from the Canada Media Fund that helps get them to air.
