The North America content marketplace NATPE Global is making its return next year, running from Jan. 16 to 18, 2024, in Miami, Florida at the InterContinental Hotel.
Resuming its place as the film and TV industry’s first major market of the year, NATPE Global will host buyers and sellers of projects in development and catalogue programming, and provide access to distribution decision-makers from leading connected TV device manufacturers and MVPDs.
The event will be run with a networking-first approach, offering delegates the opportunity to build and cultivate domestic and international relationships, according to a news release.
“The entertainment industry is exploding with change, creating new distribution opportunities and innovative ways to monetize content. At the same time, securing early access to new hit programming has never been more competitive or crucial,” said Russell Goldstein (pictured), president and CEO of the event’s owner, Playback parentco Brunico Communications.
The announcement comes just months after it was confirmed that NATPE Budapest would also return this year, running from June 19 to 22.
Known for its large-scale TV trade shows over its six-decade history, NATPE filed for bankruptcy in October 2022, due to significant revenue loss after the COVID-19 pandemic forced it to cancel several events. Brunico successfully purchased NATPE’s assets months later. The sale included NATPE’s international content markets, conferences and events, like NATPE Global, NATPE Budapest, NATPE Streaming+ and the Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards.
