1. I was accused by Harvey Weinstein, and it was reported by Page 6 of the Post, that I was having an affair with Sharon Stone during the filming of The Mighty. I wish.
2. I shoot most of my films in Canada because my wife Catherine prefers Toronto over L.A. and isn’t fond of leaving her home and cottage for any period longer than a week. She should probably get the Order of Canada, or at least Ontario, for her obstinacy, as it’s led to about a billion dollars worth of production into Canada since we met.
3. I appear in small roles in many of my productions – not from vanity, but because my directors seem to think I look like a mobster (Boondock Saints, The Third Miracle), FBI agent (Studio 54), cop (Gothika), sleazy maitre ‘d (Critical Care), vengeful religious zealot (Silent Hill), pirate (A Warrior’s Tale), etc. I don’t think I’m supposed to be flattered, but I do work cheap.
