Anne Fenn moves to Amaze

Toronto’s Amaze Film & Television has landed Anne Fenn as the company’s new development executive.

Fenn began her career as a writer at the Television Corporation of Singapore, and later served as a development exec at CTV, overseeing the Writers Only program. She has had her name on several notable projects, including Producing Parker for Global TV, which she produced, and the short Tropic of Cancer, which premiered at TIFF.

Fenn has also written and story edited several children’s animated series, and has had two original comedy series in development with CTV and CBC.

Amaze was launched in 2001 by producer/writer/directors Michael Souther and Teza Lawrence. The company’s big push for fall is Call Me Fitz, a series created by Sheri Elwood and starring Jason Priestley. TMN and Movie Central will broadcast.
