TIFF Bell Lightbox lands more millions

As the TIFF Bell Lightbox approaches its September opening, it has announced another $9.5 million in partnerships and gifts to support its campaign.

That brings its total amount raised to $171 million, which reps almost 90% of the org’s total fundraising goal of $196 million. TIFF will be turning its focus to the remaining 12.8 million over the next few months

Its new major sponsor of the festival is BlackBerry (RIM) in a multi-year partnership, along with another contrbution from The Daniels Corporation, Mackenzie Financial Corporation, along with gifts from a number of individuals.
