Matthew Waddell has joined the Teletoon management team as its new creative director.
His role will see him take control of branding, on-air promos, graphic design and off-channel creative for Teletoon, Teletoon at Night and Teletoon Retro in English and French. Waddell will also take the lead in developing creative ideas as well as delivery of all on-air elements, sales promos and network marketing support.
Waddell comes on board Teletoon after spending nine years at parentco Astral Television Networks, most recently as associate creative director, where he was responsible for rebranding The Movie Network, launching HBO Canada, and overseeing a producer team for TMN, Mpix, HBO Canada and Viewers Choice.
