Final day to submit for Playback’s 10 to Watch

The deadline for the 2022 edition of 10 to Watch is July 5. Submit your nominations here.

Time is running out to submit a nomination for the 2022 edition of Playback‘s 10 to Watch.

All up-and-coming domestic industry members are eligible to apply until Tuesday, July 5, either through self-nominations or third-party submissions.

Eligible candidates are emerging voices from the following categories: writers, directors, producers, executives, agents, as well as other rising talents at companies working in the domestic screen-based industry.

Recipients will be announced in Playback‘s fall 2022 issue and Playback Daily.

WHO QUALIFIES?

Those who have shown entrepreneurial ingenuity and significant promise in the first few years of their career in film and TV. Age is not a restriction, but the length of time a nominee has been working in their field is. Mid-career and well-established professionals will not be eligible. Submissions are carefully reviewed and selected by Playback‘s editorial team.

Nominees should be in the early stages of their career; just beginning to grab industry attention, awards and accolades within the last few years. Anyone who is already well-established and on the industry’s radar is not eligible.

Playback is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and translates that into all aspects of our editorial work, including those considered for the 10 to Watch. If you are comfortable, please provide any supplementary information of any under-represented groups you/they identify with. We encourage those of all races, genders, and identities to apply.
