IMDA and CCGA merge
the International Multimedia Development Association will be dropping that misnomer (it is mainly a Toronto organization) after it completes its upcoming merger with the Canadian Computer Graphics Association. imda president Adam Froman says the association now has about 300 members, and with ccga will have another 100. Most are involved in presentation work, kiosk or computer-based for corporate clients. ‘Very few are currently into cd-rom.’
