Ohayon takes R-C post

Former apftq chairman and prominent Quebec television producer Charles Ohayon has been named director general of television programming at Radio-Canada, effective Oct. 1.

Ohayon established Films 24, a now-defunct Montreal commercial production house, in 1979 and was the principal shareholder of sister company Cleo 24, an active producer of teleromans and television movies including Chambres en ville and Flash-varicelle. He is also past vice-president of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television.
