– Pierre Nollet has been appointed director, legal and business affairs at Astral Programming Enterprises. Most recently he practiced commercial, corporate and entertainment law at Phillips and Vineberg in Montreal. Daniel Lyon has been appointed vp, distribution for Astral Distribution. Lyon has been with the company for 10 years.

– Pinder Basi and Jody Scotchmer have joined the ranks at Sullivan Entertainment’s corporate head office in Toronto. Basi, formerly of KPMG Peat Marwick Thorne, is the new director of finance. Scotchmer, former communications manager at the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, will have the same title at Sullivan.
