Kevin DeWalt of Saskatchewan’s Minds Eye Pictures is executive producer/producer of My Lost Daughter, an $8 million miniseries which is a fictionalized version of the Solar Temple sect story.
The two two-hour movies are a Swiss/Canada treaty coproduction, slated to begin photography March 11. Co-executive producer/producer is Peter Christian Fueter of Zurich-based Condor Films, the company behind the Oscar-winning Journey of Hope. The writer is u.k.-based Peter Palliser, and Montreal-based Roger Cardinal will direct.
In the meantime, production on Lyddie, a tv movie for cbc and bbc, begins Oct. 10.
