Fremantle International has promoted Michela Di Mondo to the role of EVP, distribution and sales, Canada.
With the promotion, Di Mondo, who is the head of Fremantle’s Canadian office, will continue to focus on local adaptations of international formats, finished tape sales, coproductions and brand integrations across Fremantle’s business in English and French Canada.
She reports to Lisa Honig, SEVP for international distribution in North America. Di Mondo’s previous title was SVP of distribution and sales, Canada.
According to Fremantle, it currently has nine productions on air or in development across English and French-speaking regions.
Since joining Fremantle in 2014 as executive director of sales, Di Mondo has overseen proprietary titles including America’s Got Talent, American Idol, Family Feud, Farmer Wants a Wife, Grand Designs, My Brilliant Friend, Project Runaway and We Are Who We Are. Most recently, Di Mondo worked closely with CBC on its Canadian adaptation of Family Feud, hosted by Gerry Dee.
