McGillivray Entertainment Media hires producer Kelly Wray

kelly wray webMcGillivray Entertainment Media (MEM) has added award-winning unscripted producer Kelly Wray to its lifestyle production team.

Effectively today Wray joins the Scott McGillivray-led company as executive producer, overseeing the prodco’s lifestyle titles, including Scott’s Vacation House Rules.

Wray has more than 15 years of factual, lifestyle and documentary production experience, working on projects for CBC, Discovery, BBC, HGTV, Bravo and DIY. She has worked as a producer on the Emmy-nominated series Save Our Shelter and the Frantic Films-produced HGTV series Backyard Builds, which is nominated for a 2021 Canadian Screen Award for Best Direction, Lifestyle or Information. Additional credits include The Wilkinsons, Reality Obsessed and Income Property.

“Kelly’s combination of creative vision and proven track record of delivering engaging content to broadcast partners, makes her a perfect addition to our growing company,” said MEM president Angela Jennings in a statement.

Jennings was promoted to president of MEM – formerly McGillivray Entertainment – earlier this month, having previously served as SVP, production. The company also promoted Jeff Baker to head of production.
