Portfolio Entertainment has inked a deal for two of its kids series for multiple territories including India, Australia, Italy and New Zealand.

The Toronto-based distributor sold 52 half-hours of the how-to magic series Spellz to Viacom 18 Media, which covers territories including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal. Also, Marcom Projects picked up the educational rights to the show for Australia and New Zealand. The series airs here on TVO Kids.

Meanwhile, Portfolio’s preschool puppet series Igloo-Gloo — starring baby seals Snowflake and Snowball — will be available in Italy, following a deal for 64 x 15 episodes with the pan-European channel JimJam.
