Commercial Directions: Kates hits Lotto

Radke’s Philip Kates wrapped three days for Lotto Super 7 through Cossette. dop James Gardner shot the three 30s, and David Baxter at Panic & Bob is editing. Kates has also finished up one day for Trident through jwt. Doug Koch was dop on the 30-second spot and Daily Post’s Chris Van Dyke is editing.

Radke director Mark Mainguy and dop Sean Valentini shot two days of a video for the Hospital for Sick Children through Padulo. Gerry Banning at Partners’ Post is editing. Jeff Jones wrapped two days for Cuna through Bonneville Communications. dop Paul Goldsmith shot the two 15-second spots.

Kevin Donovan of Radke did three 30s for Molson and BBDO Vancouver. Paul Goldsmith was dop and Third Floor’s Richard Unruh is editing.

Radke director Robert Black and Koch wrapped three days for Chevy and MacLaren McCann. Unruh is editing the two 30s.

Director/dop John Spooner of Apple Box Edmonton shot one day for the Alberta Motor Association, with Studio Post handling post.

Maxx Productions just produced a pool of 30s for Casino Rama. The assignment was out of Marshall Fenn. Larry August directed the two-day shoot and James Gardner was the dop. Barry Farrell and Denis Takacs at Smash handled post, with sound design by Terry O’Reilly at Pirate Radio.

Cactus director James Head and dop Roger Vernon wrapped two days for the Salvation Army and Creative Solutions, for four 30s. Post effects are by Post Haste.

At Avion, Martin Granger and dop Simon Mestel have completed a day of shooting on a 30 for Kellogg Canada through Leo Burnett.

David Straiton at Vancouver’s Aviator Pictures shot one day for Pacific National Exhibition through Palmer Jarvis Advertising. Ron Williams was dop for the location shoot and Dave Berenbaum is currently editing the 30-second spot.

Aviator’s Steve Brook has wrapped three 15-second psas for the B.C. Lions through Vancouver-based The Torresan Group. John Houtman was dop and Berenbaum edited.
