The Saskatchewan Motion Picture Industries Association has announced the two winning teams in its first Debut Program competition, designed to provide opportunities for emerging professionals.

Winning for The Christmas Seal were director Bill Stampe, writer Rod MacIntyre and producer Wally Start, Cinepost Productions, and for Dirty Money, the victors were director Dean Evans, writer D.L. McGregor and producer Chris Triffo of Partners in Motion.

The winning teams receive Saskfilm equity investment, supplies and services to support the production of a half-hour film.
