Commercial Directions: More Fruit of the Loom for Baxter Smith

Partners’ director Mitch Gabourie picked up a day for the Dairy Farmers of Ontario through frb. Chris Soos shot and Ross Corindia edited the 30-second spot. Gabourie and Soos also teamed up on a one-day shoot for Sony Playstation through Segal Communications. Tara Law donned her editor’s hat for the first time on the 30.

At Circle Productions, Louis Lyne directed a day in Vancouver for Primestar through Thomas & Perkins. John Houtman was on camera and Lyne edited. Shin Sugino shot and directed a 30 for Connecticut Lotto through Cronin and Company. Atomic’s David Buder handled post. Henry Corra landed three 30s for Wal-Mart’s Christmas campaign through SMW Advertising. Bob Richman was behind the camera on the three-day location shoot in London, Ont. Peter Macauley at Daily Post is editing.

Kessler Irish director David Strupp landed a 30 for Highland Farms through Holmes Donin Alloul. Koch was dop on the two-day shoot at the Highland Farms Grocery Store and Brian Noon at Flashcut edited. Ron Baxter Smith shot and directed three 30s and two 15s for Fruit of the Loom underwear through Leo Burnett. Alex Eaton at Third Floor edited.

Radke Films director Jeff Jones wrapped two days with dop Doug Koch for Cantel through Gee Jeffery & Partners. Partners’ Post’s Brant Lambermont edited the 60.

Big Star Motion Pictures director/dop Mario Madau landed a four-day shoot for Fire Guard. The spot is being cut in-house by Peer Englehardt.

Larry August at Maxx Productions directed two Casino Rama spots for Marshall Fenn Communications. James Gardner shot, Smash’s Barry Farrell edited and Pirate Radio and Television did sound design.

At comm.bat films, director Paul Cade and dop Stephen Bower shot a pool of spots for Bank of Montreal in Toronto, Collingwood, Ont., Calgary, Vancouver and Chicago. The assignment was through Vickers & Benson. Chameleon’s Andy Attalai edited and David Fleury Music Productions handled music.
