In Vancouver, Apple Box director Tony Pantages and dop Shawn Lawless shot two days of trailers for the Vancouver International Film Festival through BBDO Vancouver. Post was done at Jayne Morris Berry Post by Dan Macdonell.
At The Players Film Company, director David McNally and dop Nixon Binney landed three days of Dentyne Ice through Warner-Lambert. Peter McCauley at the Daily Post handled the edit.

The Postman Productions director Gord McFarlane and dop David Wilson shot two days of psa’s for the Toronto Humane Society. McFarlane will be looking after the post at Optix.
Maxx director Larry August will be shooting a spot for McCain Foods with dop George Willis. Brant Lambermont at Third Floor will be handling the edit.
Videogenic director Christian Fennell recently completed a 15-minute drama on the TD Bank Future Builders Plan, with Robbi Hinds on camera. Videogenic’s Mark Clermont handled the post.
Fennell got the call on a Mountain Dew spot through bbdo for The Big Film Company, an affiliate of Videogenic Corporation, and landed one day for Ford through Y&R, with Craig Mullins behind the camera, and a half-day for Taco Bell through Bozell Palmer Bonner with dop George Hosek. All were edited by Clermont.
Animation House director Terry Godfrey and Videogenic had a day of background plates for Kellogg’s Rice Krispies, with Hinds the dop.
Director/dop Chris Tammaro shot one day for Yorkdale Mall through McNally & Sutherland and one day for Benjamin Moore Paints through Promanad Communications, with Clermont once again editing.
Circle director Robert Turner completed five days for Crest on location in Miami out of dmb&b, New York. Ron Williams was the dop and John Maloney at Red Car handled post, with Curious Pictures helping out on the graphics.
Grant Baird just completed a four-day shoot for BC Forestry out of Palmer Jarvis. John Houtman was the dop and David Buder at Finale Post handled the edit.
Revolver’s Allan Mestel shot four days for General Mills through FCB Canada with dop Ray Dumas. Chris Brook of Partners’ Post did the edit.
At Louder Music, track director Steve Convery recently completed a spot for Molson Breweries through MacLaren McCann. Digital was done at Manta and Richard Waugh was the talent.
Convery also set the music to three psas for the Canadian Diabetes Association through Manifest Communications, with Waugh again starring.
David Krystal added some tunes to two spots for Kellogg’s Pop Tarts at Digital Music. Agency is Leo Burnett.
At Vancouver’s Dick & Rogers, engineer Dick Abbott set music to a tv spot for a Washington Acura dealership through Higgins Creative. Abbott also worked on a spot for Kokanee beer with Todd Araki. Agency was Bryant Fulton & Shee.
And engineer Brad Belcher worked on a spot for Red Wing Boots through Red Motel Pictures.
