Paragon Entertainment will announce the first project through its recently acquired Lacewood Animation at mipcom.

Roy Rogers, a 26-episode animated series, will hit production in time for ctcpf funding next year. All American Television is handling sales and merchandising in the u.s., and syndication. Paragon is in also in development with Fox Kids on Dog’s Dog, an animated :30, and World Girl, a mix of live action and animation for Discovery u.s.’s new kids’ block. cbc and cbs commissioned a pilot from Paragon for Take Five, a doc-style look at kids skedded for fall ’98.

Reports are circulating that a serious accident occurred on the set of Blues Brothers 2000 this month, that has left a stuntman in serious condition at a Toronto hospital. Director John Landis’ Universal Pictures production office did not return calls seeking confirmation.
