Vancouver: Video equipment rental company Sim Video West has moved into larger space at Lions Gate Studio in North Vancouver.
‘The change in venue is a direct result of the increased clientele Sim Video West has acquired since it opened in British Columbia in 1991,’ explains gm Darren Robertson.
A branch of 16-year-old Sim Video in Toronto, Sim Video West claims to offer the widest variety of Betacam equipment in Canada. The larger facility – three times the size of the previous office in the same complex – features a new Avid nonlinear editing suite and a 24-frame conversion and dubbing facility.
Sim Video West has done recent 24-frame video playback work for The X-Files, Fox mow Nick Fury, Shavick mow Stormchasers, abc pilot FutureSport and PolyGram pilot Ghost Cop.
