Ranger Rob gets season three greenlight

The animated adventure show's latest round of episodes is set to be delivered at the beginning of summer 2020.

Ranger Rob from Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has been given the greenlight for a third act.

Following the adventures of the 10-year-old ranger, the animated preschool series sees Rob zipline, swing and snowboard around outdoor adventure park, Big Sky Park. Featuring new characters and adventures, this latest installment of the series will run for 52 x 11 minutes and is expected to be delivered at the beginning of summer 2020.

Prior to this, Ranger Rob first made its debut on Corus Entertainment’s Treehouse in Canada in 2016. According to Numeris data provided by Corus in 2017, the show’s 13-episode first season was the highest-rated series on Treehouse in fall 2016.

In addition to Treehouse, Ranger Rob airs on Universal Kids and Hulu in the U.S., TF1 in France, Tiny Pop in the U.K., Super RTL in Germany, to name a few.

The animated adventure show also has licensing partnerships in place with Quebec-based toy manufacturer and distributor Imports Dragon, its master toy partner; Chouette Publishing; J Corp for apparel; Jellifish for sleepwear; Black & White for footwear; and more.

In recent stock filings, Nelvana said it delivered 206 half hour equivalent episodes in 2019, up from 122 in 2018.
