Director Geoff Ayres and dop Bing Sokolski landed a three-day gig for Pizza Pops out of Leo Burnett. Tim Kirkwood edited at Flashcut.

Kevin Donovan directed a spot for Salon Selectives through taxi. Chris Soos was the dop and Bruce Copeman cut at Axyz.

Director Don Allan and dop Mike Andringa had a day for Palmolive out of Soje/Lonsdale, Barbados, and a day for Home Hardware/VIA Rail through Saffer Group. Chris Brook edited both jobs at Partners’ Post.

Director Christina Hodnet had a four-day stint for Sears out of Young & Rubicam. Lensing the spot was Vance Burberry and Greg Edgar edited at Stealing Time.

Hodnet also landed a pool of spots for SaskPower with Saskatchewan’s Creative House Studios. Darryl Kesslar lensed the ‘Power To You’ campaign, created by MGM Communications, Saskatoon. Steve Manz cut at Partners’ Post and Ross Nikiforuk and Jay Semko are creating the music.

Bark and dop Simon Mestel spent some time with Wayne Gretzky on a one-day job for cibc out of Padulo. Greg Banning edited at Partners’ Post. A second day for cibc saw Bark teaming up with Pienaar.

Director Jonathan Darby and dop Miroslaw Baszak landed three days for Compaq through Ammirati, New York. Editing was done in nyc.

Director/dop Ian Leech had four days for Ericsson through y&r. Andy Ames edited at Panic & Bob.

Director/dop Larry Hutson shot two days for ING Direct through Garneau Wurstlin Philp. Brian Williams edited at Panic & Bob.

Revolver director/cameraman Kyle Bergersen and dop Ray Dumas completed three days for Budweiser’s Touchdown Canada through Bozell Worldwide. Griff Hendersen is handling post at Panic & Bob.

Maxx Productions director Dan Hackett and dop James Gardner are prepping for a mid-September shoot for Caesar’s Riverboat Casino with Creative Alliance out of Louisville, Kentucky. Alex Eaton will cut at Stealing Time.

At The Big Film Company, director/dop Ted Parkes had a day for General Mills through Cossette. The ‘Goosebumps’ spot was edited by Dave Greenham in-house.

Director Christian Fennell had two days in Las Vegas for Park Towers building contractors through LA Ads. George Hosek lensed and Greenham edited.

Fennell also shot a :30 for Subway out of Hoberlin Advertising. Rhett Morita was behind the lens and Greenham posted.

Director Chris Sanderson got the call on two spots for the Ontario Medical Association through Advanced Planning. Parkes was the dop and James Taylor edited at Big.

Avion director Mark Story and dop George Willis had a three-day assignment for Manitoba Telecom through Palmer Jarvis/DDB Needham, Winnipeg. Mick Griffin and Chris Parkins edited at Flashcut.

Story and Gardner had another three days for General Mills out of Cossette. Ames edited at Panic & Bob.

Stargate Studios director James Hyslop and dop David Makin had two days for drtv out of Lennox Industries, Dallas. Three weeks of 3D animation and special effects will be handled in-house at Stargate.

Radke Films director/dop Steve Gordon shot a day for Maxwell House through Ogilvy & Mather. Visual effects took place at Voo-Doo in Montreal.

Director Mark Mainguy and dop Dylan MacLeod picked up three days for Vicks out of dmb&b, New York. Editing was handled in the u.s.

Director Eddy Chu and dop Michael Buckley were behind the wheel on two days for Honda through Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll. Brant Lambermont cut the spot at Third Floor.

Director Martin Shewchuk teamed up with Nick Allen-Woolfe on a two-day job for Hi-C out of Tandem & Associates. The spot was cut in Philadelphia.

Shewchuk and Allen-Woolfe had another two days for Pillsbury through Leo Burnett, Chicago. Editing took place in the u.s.

Director Tom DeCerchio landed two days for Campbells through bbdo. Peter Hartmann was the dop and Ames edited at Panic & Bob.

Due to a shoot delay, a Tide spot through Saatchi & Saatchi, directed by Players’ Stephen Surjik, was shot by dop Sean Valentini instead of Glen Keenan, as listed in the Aug. 24 Commercial Directions.
