Veteran casting director Jon Comerford has co-launched the casting agency New Life Casting with Sara Dang and Lisa DeMeo.

The agency will primarily service film and television productions.

Comerford has worked in the industry for more than 30 years with over 200 film, TV and theatre credits. He was president of his own casting agency Comerford Casting, and became a partner at Lisa Parasyn Casting in 2005. He has won two Canadian Screen Awards for his casting work on Cardinal (pictured) and Bomb Girls, and his recent work as a casting director includes Schitt’s Creek and Star Trek: Discovery.

Sara Dang works as a casting associate with Comerford and has worked on Canadian series such as Diggstown and Ransom. Lisa DeMeo been in the industry for more than 10 years, working in commercial casting and as a talent agent before co-founding New Life with Comerford and Dang. Her casting credits include Star Trek: Discovery.
