Martha Plimpton has joined the cast of writer/director Ed Gass-Donnelly’s latest, appearing in the drama Small Town Murder Scenes for 3 Legged Dog Films and Resolute Films and Entertainment.

The noted indie actress (I Shot Andie Warhol, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle) joins Peter Stormare (Prison Break), Aaron Poole (Z.O.S. ), Stephen McIntyre (Falcon Beach), Ari Cohen (The Tracey Fragments) and Jill Hennessy, formerly of Law & Order.

Plimpton plays the girlfriend to Stormare’s character.

The picture, produced by Donnelly and Lee Kim, is currently shooting in rural southern Ontario. It marks Gass-Donnelly’s follow-up to This Beautiful City, also produced with Kim. KinoSmith will distribute in Canada.
