Montreal: Montreal-based Remstar Distribution has acquired exclusive Canadian rights to Camouflage, directed by James Keach and starring William Forsythe, Lochlyn Munro, Vanessa Angel and Leslie Nielsen in the role of a nearly retired detective out for one last score. The film is budgeted at $18 million and was shot recently in British Columbia.
Remstar also picked up Canadian rights to the just-wrapped Allan Goldstein family comedy Home Team, starring Steve Guttenberg, Sophie Lorain and Michel Perron.
The story of young, institutional teen orphans whose lives are turned around with the arrival of a famous but banned soccer star was penned by Pierce O’Donnell and Jefferson Lewis.
Producers are Claude Leger of Transfilm and Luciano Lisi of Alist Productions.
