The Creative House Studios in Saskatoon is gearing up for Christmas a little early. Since the last couple of years in Saskatchewan have been snow-free until well into the new year, director Glen Kerby and dop Darryl Kesslar shot a festive spot for SaskPower out of MGM Communications over a few days last month. Harley Michailuck edited at Brass Orchid Postfx and Creative House handled the sound.
The Directors Film Company director Laura Belsey and dop George Willis had a day for the University of California in San Diego via Porter Novelli. Mark Hajek edited the spot at Stealing Time.
Director Robert Quartly and dop Rene Ohashi teamed up on a day for Choice Hotels. Chris Parkins handled post at Flashcut.
Quartly and Ohashi were together again on a two-day shoot for The Ontario Jockey Club via Ranscombe & Company. Parkins edited.
Director George Simhoni and dop David Herrington had two days for Sears through Ammirati Puris Lintas. Dave Thomson handled the cut at Third Floor.

Director Neil Pollock and Baszak had two days for Bakers Square restaurants through The Richards Group, Dallas, Texas. Editorial took place in the Lone Star state.
Pollock and Baszak were together again on a day for Finlandia Cheese out of The Romann Group, New York. Editorial took place in the u.s.
Director Eric Yealland got the call on a one-day Bell job through Cossette Communications. Paul Tolton was behind the lens and Grant Pye cut at Third Floor.
Don Allan directed and Baszak shot a day for Sears and Young & Rubicam, Toronto. Chris Brook edited at Partners’ Post.
Through The Revolver Film Company, Allan and Baszak shot two spots in four days for Ford and y&r. Editorial duties were shared by Paul Gowan at Partners’ Post and Brian Williams at Panic & Bob.
Also through Revolver, Allan and dop Ray Dumas had a one-day job for Radio Shack via y&r. Gowan looked after post.
L.T.B. Productions’ Clinton Ashton helmed two days for Tide out of Saatchi & Saatchi. Jeremy Benning was the dop and Third Floor’s Dave Thompson edited.

Holly Dale helmed an f/x-heavy spot for Whitehall Robins/Caltrate. The one-day job, out of Anderson Advertising, was lensed by Stephen Amini and McAuley handled post and special effects.
