DePoe, Levine join Westwood

Suzanne DePoe and Michael Levine are joining together with Canada’s largest literary agency, Westwood Creative Artists, to form WCA Film and Television. The new agency, based in Toronto, is being established to create international opportunities for Canadian writers and directors.

The first project in the works for wca is Anne Michaels’ Fugitive Pieces through Clarence Square Pictures. The agency also has another 70 books currently under option.

DePoe is a well-known agent, representing such talents as Rick Mercer and director Tim Southam, and Levine is a founding director of the Canadian Film Centre and current chair of Westwood and Bravo!fact.
