Vision Man sees clear victory at BMFF

Vision Man, a Swedish film from director William Long, won the grand prize at the Banff Mountain Film Festival earlier this month. The film about an elderly Inuit hunter who reflects on his life was picked by a bmff jury from an original pool of 138 entries from 22 different countries.

A special jury award went to the u.k. film From Nowhere to the Middle of Nowhere, from producer/director Alun Hughes. The film demonstrates the view of Nepal from a paraglider piloted by John Silvester, with Hughes manning the camera.
