In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Toronto International Film Festival’s Film Reference Library, a screenwriter mentorship program has been created to help aspiring talent develop their skills under the guidance of an experienced screenwriter.

Gemini-nominated screenwriter Janis Cole (Dangerous Offender) has been chosen to head up the program this year, which is divided into three separate intensive three-month sessions, starting June 5, Sept. 1 and Dec. 1.

In addition, the library is offering two screenwriting workshops led by Cole.
