At the World Film Festival of Animated Films in Zagreb, When the Day Breaks (directors, Wendy Tilby and Amanda Forbis) won the Grand Prize, Village of Idiots (directors, Eugene Fedorenko and Rose Newlove) took home the second prize, and the Norway/Canada coprod My Grandmother Ironed the King’s Shirts (director, Torill Kove) was honored with a Special Diploma.
Village of Idiots also won the Centaur Award at the Message to Men Festival in St. Petersburg.
