in an effort to cultivate new talent from the Atlantic region, Salter Street Films has committed to the creation of the Salter Street Films Scholarship. The new initiative will benefit Maritime residents attending the film, TV or new media programs at the Canadian Film Centre.

Scholarships will be awarded annually from a fund administered by the Ontario Arts Council.
