Twelve producers including the National Film Board’s Anita Lee and Damon D’Oliveira are taking part this week in a new workshop from the Canadian Film Centre and NBC Universal. The NBCU Multiplatform Matchmaking Program, a joint effort with CFC’s Media Lab unveiled earlier this year, is underway in Toronto, addressing the ‘creative and commercial challenges’ of developing multimedia content.
Lee (The Bodybuilder and I, Heaven and Earth) and D’Oliveira (Poor Boy’s Game) are joined by YTV’s Lianne Stewart. Also taking part are Jennifer Holness (Love, Sex and Eating the Bones), Davin Trent Lengyel (Pure Pwnage), Theresa Laurico, filmmaker/composer Romeo Candido, David Goorevitch . Francine Zuckerman (Punch Me in the Stomach), David Oppenheim, James Milward and CBC’s Paul McGrath.
