Toronto’s Sinking Ship Entertainment has struck a deal to finance and distribute Sydney, Australia-based Aquarius Films’ new live-action kids show The Unlisted.

The 15-episode, half-hour series hails from the producers of the Academy Award-nominated dramatic feature Lion. The kids show, produced in association with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, follows 12-year-old twins as they work with kid vigilantes to save the world’s youth from powerful governments.

Aimed at kids ages eight to 12 and their families, Sinking Ship will introduce the new series to buyers at the Kidscreen Summit in February.

The Unlisted is in the final stages of financing and will be shot in Australia later in 2018, with an anticipated delivery of fall 2019.
