Production is currently underway on the third season of Seven24 Films’ supernatural western, Wynonna Earp.
The 12-episode season will shoot in Calgary until May and return to the Space lineup later in 2018. The series airs on Syfy in the U.S.
Created by showrunner, writer and executive producer, Emily Andras, the drama based on the IDW Publishing comics by Beau Smith, follows a demon hunter determined to rid the world of otherworldly outlaws.
The series is executive produced by Seven 24’s Jordy Randall and Tom Cox, alongside David Ozer, Ted Adams, Rick Jacobs, and Todd Berger. Brian Dennis serves as producer.
Stars Melanie Scrofano, Shamier Anderson, Tim Rozen, Dominique Provost-Chalkley, Katherine Barrell and Jeremy Chetri all return for season three. Writers on the CSA-nominated show include Brendon Yorke, Shelley Scarrow, Noelle Carbone, Caitlin Fryers and Matt Doyle. Meanwhile, Paolo Barzman, April Mullen, Ron Murphy, and Grant Harvey will all step behind the camera in season three.
According to Numeris data provided by Bell Media, during Wynonna Earp‘s Friday at 10 p.m. timeslot, Space was the most-watched entertainment specialty among 18-49 viewers.
