The Documentary Organization of Canada held a brunch on Sept. 8 to celebrate the Canadian documentaries that screened at TIFF this year. Hosted by Miller Thomson LLP’s Alfred Apps, guests included TIFF senior programmer Steve Gravestock, filmmakers Nicholas de Pencier, Jennifer Baichwal and Anne Marie Fleming, as well as Michael Thompson, Toronto city councillor and chair of the Economic Development and Culture Committee.
