Busan International Film Festival has unveiled its 2017 lineup, with Ingrid Veninger’s Porcupine Lake (pictured) and Kathleen Hepburn’s Never Steady, Never Still among a number of Canadian features to screen at the South Korean festival.

Also set to screen at the festival, which runs from Oct. 12 to 21, is François Girard’s Hochelaga, Land of Souls, Jason Sanchez’s A Worthy Companion and Jamie Dagg’s Sweet Virginia (U.S./Canada). 

Porcupine Lake is Veninger’s sixth feature film and has also been added to California’s 40th Mill Valley Film Festival. The project is making its world premiere in the World Contemporary Cinema program at TIFF ’17.

The features from Girard, Sanchez and Hepburn are also making their world premieres at TIFF ’17, while Sweet Virginia world premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year.
