CTV has picked up the business-minded reality Undercover Boss with plans to debut the series in the enviable post-Super Bowl slot on Sunday, in lockstep with U.S. broadcaster CBS.
Undercover Boss will air at roughly 10 p.m. ET, following the game between the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts. CTV has not released scheduling details for subsequent episodes of Boss, and expects to announce details next week, when the broadcaster will also begin its Olympic coverage.
Boss follows high-ranking executives as they slip anonymously into the rank and file of their companies to examine their inner workings and staff. Companies whose executives will be featured in the show include 7-Eleven CEO Joseph DePinto, Hooters CEO Coby Brooks and Waste Management COO Larry O’Donnell. The series is exec produced by Stephen Lambert of Studio Lambert (Benefit Busters).
The deal was negotiated by U.K.-based All3Media International.
