Keith Behrman is the recipient of this year’s Claude Jutra Award, to be presented at the 23rd Genie Awards on Feb. 13. The award, recognizing outstanding achievement by a first-time feature film director, goes to Behrman for Flower & Garnet, which debuted at the 2002 Toronto International Film Festival.

Behrman’s previous directing credits include the short films Thomas (1994), White Cloud, Blue Mountain (1997) and Ernest (2000).
