Playback Readership Poll Results

The majority of Playback readers think the feds should reconsider cuts to the CTF.

In response to Playback’s online poll question: ‘In light of the 2003 federal budget, what do you think should be the government’s top priority?’ 51.9% of respondents voted in favor of ‘the CTF, because it is crucial culturally and builds the domestic industry.’ The second most popular sentiment, with 24%, was that ‘benefits to foreign and domestic producers should be on par,’ followed by ‘the new budget is fair given the times,’ with 14%. Rounding out the list, at 10.1%, was ‘foreign shooting, because it drives growth.’
