Production underway on latest Bunbury doc

I Think You've Been Looking For Me is slated to air on CBC Firsthand in 2019.

kacim steets Montreal-based prodco Bunbury Films has started production on it’s next doc project. I Think You’ve Been Looking For Me is produced in association with CBC Firsthand.

Directed by Kacim Steets (pictured), the feature follows Joe, who reconnects with his biological mother and half-brother (Steets) after a law is passed in New Jersey allowing adoptees to obtain their original birth certificates.

Principal photography is taking place in Montreal and North Carolina, with production set to wrap in September. The doc is slated to air on CBC Firsthand in Winter 2019.

I Think You’ve Been Looking For Me is produced by Frederic Bohbot of Bunbury Films and written and directed by Steets and Stephane Lavoie.

Bunbury most recently co-produced Montreal-set thriller, Boostwith Havelock Films. The prodco also co-produced 2013’s Oscar-winning short The Lady in Number 6.
