* Telefilm Canada has announced the appointment of John Galaway to the position of director of the Ontario/Nunavut regional office and national sector head – television, operations, effective immediately. Galaway was formerly the region’s television unit director.

* The Canadian Television Fund has named Johanne Gagnon manager of analysis – French market, replacing Stephane Gabriele. Gagnon’s previous positions include business affairs manager at SODEC and external production associate (variety programming) with Radio-Canada.

* CHUM Limited has announced the appointment of Roma Khanna as VP interactive, CHUM Television. Formerly executive VP of Snap Media, Khanna will be responsible for the strategic development and day-to-day operation of all new media initiatives for CHUM Television.
