Space preps Killjoys, Dark Matter returns

The Bell Media specialty has set June premiere dates for the series, which also air on U.S. net Syfy.

Bell Media specialty Space channel has set the return dates for Dark Matter and Killjoys. 

Season three of Dark Matter (pictured) will premiere Friday June 9 at 8 p.m. with two back-to-back episodes. All subsequent episodes will air Fridays at 9 p.m. The 13-episode, hour-long sci-fi show is produced by Toronto’s Prodigy Pictures. U.S. net Syfy renewed the series for a third season last September, with the U.S. premiere also set for June 9.

Dark Matter is executive produced by Prodigy founder Jay Firestone, as well as series creators Joseph Mallozi and Paul Mullie.

Fans of Killjoys will have to wait until the end of June for the third season to debut. The 10-episode, hour-long series will premiere Friday June 30 at 8.p.m. Killjoys is produced by Temple Street, a division of Boat Rocker Studios, in association with Space and Syfy. The series is also set to return to Syfy on June 30.

Series creator Michelle Lovretta executive produces, alongside David Fortier, Ivan Schneeberg, and Karen Troubetzkoy. Co-executive producers are Stefan Pleszczynski, Trish Williams, and Adam Barken. Lena Cordina produces.
